At Genuine Medical Consulting, we have a background in the veteran disability claims process. Educated, licensed, and experienced in advanced practice with prescription authority and the ability to practice medicine. We can guide you in what diagnostics you will need such as x-rays, MRI, blood work, history, medications lists, and medical records to help substantiate your claim and diagnoses to the VA. The examiner who performs your disability exam will have limited time to search for those records and diagnostics.
Our mission is to help veterans who are suffering chronic illness or pain due to injury or exposure during their service be prepared for disability exams so they can receive the compensation needed to help them cope and deal with their chronic illness or pain.
Too many times veterans go to a disability exam only to be told that they do not have the records, diagnoses, or diagnostics to prove or substantiate their disability claims. Veterans have to start the process over if their records are lacking an x-ray or a lab value in order for the VA to consider their claim. Too many times veterans who go to a civilian doctor or practitioner will not have their records transferred over to the VA for the VA's review and their claim will be denied. Our Motivation was to help veterans collect these records and know what x-rays and diagnostics that they would need in order to help get their disability approved with the VA so they can get the help that they need.
